Peter grew up developing his passion for pastry as the third generation of a well-known pastry chef family. In 1997, he graduated pastry school in Belgium, and spent the next 7-years developing and exploring his skills in various pastry kitchens in the Netherlands. In 2004, Peter moved to London to develop his craft at various five-star hotels as Head Pastry Chef, quickly gaining a reputation for his expertise and passion.
In 2007, Peter was on the go again – this time to Asia as Executive Pastry Chef, setting up operations in 5-star hotels such as Sofitel, Shangri-La and Kempinski among others – working in Manila and Fiji, to the Seychelles and beyond.
Having covered lots of ground in this role, Peter took to the sea – becoming Executive Pastry Chef for the famous cruise line, Yacht of Seabourn. Today, Chef Peter is back in the Netherlands working for a renowned Bakery Factory, offering innovation advice for the development of new products.
