Anchor™ Food Professionals - Western Star’s - 100 Year Celebration Promotion
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter, claim and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in “Anchor™ Food Professionals - Western Star’s 100 Year - Celebration Promotion” (the Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
PROMOTER
2. The promoter is Fonterra Brands (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 80 095 181 669) of Level 2, 40 River Boulevard, Richmond VIC 3121 (the Promoter). Telephone 1300 738 484.
ELIGIBILITY
3. Entry is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who are employed at an Australian eligible food service business, either as a chef, cook, or an individual engaged in food preparation. An “eligible foodservice business” is a business that serves food outside of a customer’s home, including full-service restaurants and cafes, pubs or clubs, independent pizza restaurants, and independent Quick Service Restaurants (but excluding global chain quick service restaurant outlets). Directors, management and employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter, its related companies and agencies associated with the conduct of the Promotion are ineligible. “Immediate family members” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
4. The Promotion commences at 12:01 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 10/08/2026 and closes at 11:59 pm Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (AEDT) on 4/10/2026 (Promotional Period). All times and dates specified throughout these Terms and Conditions will be either AEST or AEDT, depending on when applicable in Melbourne, Victoria.
HOW TO ENTER
5. The entrant must, during the Promotional Period:
(i) Create an image or reel of a food dish they’ve created or helped create for the food establishment where they work, which contains one of these Western Star Butter products: Western Star™ Original Salted Butter 1.5kg (product code: 104075) and Western Star™ Unsalted Butter 1.5kg (product code: 105055);
(ii) Entrants must then explain why the dish is a “Star Performer” (e.g. signature dish, bestseller, menu hero, customer favourite) either in the caption or in the video if they produce a reel. The image or reel must contain a reference to either of the products as outlined in condition 5 (i) above. This can be done by including the packaging in the image or reel;
(iii) The entry they created must be posted on their Facebook or Instagram page and tag Anchor Food Professionals AU (Facebook) or @anchorfp.au (Instagram). Entries must use the hashtag #ShowUsYourStar. Accounts used for the purpose of entry must be on public display during the entire Promotional Period up to and including 2 weeks after the unclaimed prize draw date; and
(iv) Once the entry is posted, it may be reshared on Anchor Food Professionals AU (on Facebook) or @anchorfp.au (on Instagram).
6. Entrants: (a) warrant that: (i) they have permission from their food establishment employer to enter and their entry contains an original dish created for their food establishment; (ii) they have permission from anyone else who assisted with their original dish entered to enter it in this Promotion; and (b) must avoid: (i) using background music or referencing other copyright-protected works or trademarks (other than Western Star Butter); (ii) making any misleading statements or product or health claims; and (iii) referencing any individual (either by image or name) other than the entrant who is submitting the entry.
7. If the entrant references the Western Star Butter name, logo or packaging (i.e., indicia) in their entry, the Promoter grants the entrant only a limited, non-exclusive licence to use this indicia solely for the purpose of the Promotion, and the entrant is not granted any intellectual, proprietary or any other rights, which at all times remain the property of the Promoter or its licensors. The entrant must not make any derogatory or negative statements, or any other type of statement or undertake any act regarding Western Star Butter that brings the brand into disrepute as reasonably determined by the Promoter.
LIMIT ON ENTRIES
8. There is no limit on the number of entries an entrant can submit, but each entry must be substantially unique and contain a separate dish created using either of the Western Star Butter products: Western Star™ Original Salted Butter 1.5kg (product code: 104075) or Western Star™ Unsalted Butter 1.5kg (product code: 105055), as reasonably determined by the Promoter.
9. For each valid: (a) reel submitted, the entrant will obtain five (5) entries, and (b) image submitted, the entrant will obtain one (1) entry.
DRAW AND WINNER NOTIFICATION DETAILS
10. This is a game of chance, and skill plays no part in determining the winner. The draw will take place at RO Digital, 20-40 Meagher St, Chippendale NSW 2008 at 2.00 pm on 12/10/2026. The Promoter may draw reserves, record them in the order they are drawn and use them as replacements in the event that the original entrant is ineligible or the entry is invalid.
11. The winner will be notified by email within two NSW (2) business days of the draw via a DM to their account, and their details (e.g. first Initial, surname and postcode) will be published on the Promoter’s social media pages Anchor Food Professionals AU (Facebook) and @anchorfp.au (Instagram) on 20/10/2026.
PRIZE
12. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize of $5,000, to be deposited into the winner’s nominated bank account. Once contacted by the Promoter and their entry is verified, the winner will be required to supply their bank details within 7 days, or their entry may be deemed invalid. If their entry is deemed invalid before the unclaimed draw is scheduled to take place, then the Promoter will either use a reserve selected in the original draw or award the prize via the unclaimed prize draw mechanism as set out below.
13. The total prize pool value is AU$5,000.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications arising from receiving the prize. Entrants should seek their own financial advice.
CONTENT REQUIREMENTS AND COPYRIGHT USAGE RIGHTS
15. Without limiting any other provisions herein, entrants agree that they are fully responsible for any information or materials they submit via the promotion including, but not limited to, their name, photo creation, social media handle, comments, recordings and images (“Content”). The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may amend, remove or decline to publish any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever, and the Promoter may request the removal of entries at any time in its absolute discretion. Entrants warrant and agree that:
(i) they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, indecent, inappropriate, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;
(ii) their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity;
(iii) they will obtain prior consent to submit the Content in accordance with these Terms and Conditions from any person or from the owner(s) of any property, including intellectual property, that appears in their Content, and if such person is under the age of 18, the prior consent of their parent or legal guardian. The Participant will obtain the prior agreement of any other person featured in the Content (or if such person is under the age of 18, their parent or legal guardian);
(iv) they own the copyright and/or intellectual property rights in the Content and have the rights in the Content to the uses contemplated by these Terms and Conditions; or they will obtain full prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the Content to the uses contemplated by these Terms and Conditions, and the Content does not infringe the rights of any third party;
(v) to the extent permitted by law, they unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any use of the Content or act or omission which may otherwise infringe any moral rights in the Content and warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights; and
(vi) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems requirements.
16. Without limiting any other terms herein, the entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter for any breach of the above terms.
17. As a condition of entering this Promotion, each Entrant licenses and grants the Promoter and its related companies and affiliates and sub-licensees an unrestricted, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, transferable and divisible right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their entry (which shall include Content), or part of their entry, for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. If requested by Promoter, the entrant agrees to sign any further documentation required by the Promoter to give effect to this arrangement.
GENERAL
18. The draw for the unclaimed prize, if required, will take place at the same time and place as the original draw on 14/12/2026, subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority. The Promoter reserves the right to draw reserves and use them as a replacement in the event the unclaimed prize winner or subsequent reserve is deemed ineligible, or their entry is deemed invalid. The winner, if any, will be notified via a DM to their account within 2 VIC working days, and their details (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published on the Promoter’s social media pages Anchor Food Professionals AU (Facebook) and @anchorfp.au (Instagram) on 17/12/2026.
19. The prize is not transferable to another person.
20. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Entrants release Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility or liability related to this promotion. Any information the entrant provides is collected by the Promoter for the purposes of administering this Promotion, in accordance with our privacy policy and statement set out below. The entrant warrants that he/she has complied with Facebook’s and Instagram’s various applicable social media. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any non-compliance or the outcome of such non-compliance.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrants identity, age, place of residence and employment, and employment role) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's rights to recover damages or other compensation from a person who breaches these Terms and Conditions are reserved.
22. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Entrant; and (b) subject to any written direction from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
23. The Promoter’s decision regarding any matter pertaining to this Promotion is final and no further correspondence will be entered into. If an entrant is disqualified for any reason, then they will not receive any prize.
24. Any cost associated with entering the Promotion is the individual’s responsibility. Any entrant who uses automated software or any other mechanism to enter repeatedly is prohibited, and all of that entrant’s entries will be invalidated.
25. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia, where it is illegal to do so, in which case they are limited to the maximum extent permitted by law (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry, prize or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner, or entrant; or (f) a prize.
27. As a condition of accepting the prize, the entrant must sign any legal documentation as and in the format required by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release form within the timeframe required by the Promoter, or their prize may be forfeited in the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
28. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.anchorfoodprofessionals.com/au/en.html. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for a reasonable period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how an entrant may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how an entrant may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the promoter. The Promoter will not disclose PI to any entity outside of Australia.
