Calzone of the Day

    1   Large pizza dough divided into 6
    138 gr Anchor Extra stretch mozzarella or
    165 gr Mainland grated mozzarella
    125 gr Anchor Food Professionals Cream cheese
    250 gr Leftover cooked chicken/ ham/ bacon/ sautéed mushrooms
    125 gr Mainland Blue cheese crumbled or
    100 gr Mainland Parmesan shaved
  1. Heat the oven to 200C.
  2. Divide into 6 even pieces, shape each piece into a ball, flatten with your hand then roll each piece into an oval about 4-5mm thick.
  3. Place about 1/6 of the mixture in the centre of the dough oval, sprinkle with a little pepper.
  4. Fold each oval in half and press the edges together with your fingertips, crimp the edges so none of the filling can spill out.
  5. Place the Calzone side by side on a flour baking sheet brush with garlic-infused oil and scatter with parmesan.
  6. Cook at 200 C for 15 – 20 minutes until the dough is puffed up and golden on top, serve hot with pickle and salad.
