Anchor Food Professionals Masterclass with Chef Peter in Romania

A few weeks ago, Chef Peter and the Anchor Food Professionals team travelled to Cluj Napoca, Romania to conduct a demonstration or our UHT cream range. The product demonstration was arranged by our importer Harvester Stock and Northern-Romanian distributor Viadan and was attended by around 80 customers. During the demonstration, Chef Peter showed the key benefits of the products Anchor Dessert & Cooking Cream, Anchor Chef’s Classic, and Anchor Extra Yield Cooking Cream. He did this by showcasing some of his recipes, such as: Chocolate Crème Brûlée, Tricolor Panna Cotta, and Pesto Pasta, which you can find here on our website.

Anchor Chef’s Classic is our perfectly balanced European dairy cream, it is great for pastry applications (hot, cold, or frozen). One of its best features is the ideal whip yield – it will give up to 2.5x whipped cream volume, with great definition that holds it shape. Then for pastas, soups and sauces, Anchor Extra Yield is the cream to use. It is acid stable, which means you do not need to worry about it splitting in sour or spicy recipes. Anchor Dessert & Cooking Cream is designed to deliver reliable performance across a range of kitchen creations, from dessert to cooking recipes. If you need a cream for mousses, fillings and other soft whip applications, but also need a cream that stands up to the heat then this is the cream to use. 

At lunch time, there was a delicious buffet prepared, which included pasta and pork fillet made with Anchor Extra Yield Cooking Cream and a variety of desserts made with Anchor Chef’s Classic Whipping Cream and Anchor Dessert & Cooking Cream. After lunch, Chef Mihail from Romania showcased some of his own recipes using Anchor Food Professionals cream and explained in detail on his own positive experience with the products. The crowd were very engaged and asked some excellent questions during the chef demonstrations, which triggered some interesting discussions.

Overall, the masterclass was a great success. The Anchor team enjoyed meeting so many talented chefs from Romania and the surrounding countries and hearing first-hand about their experience with our products. The team is looking forward to further collaboration with Harvester Stock and Viadan to further grow Anchor Food Professionals in Romania.
